Exercise, nutrition, and metabolism

Lifestyle choices matter. So does the science behind them.

Our focus is aging

“Exercise and eat well” is good advice that those of us who want to age well are eager to follow. But what is the science behind this good advice? How do we optimize the energy that allows us to live? And how are exercise and nutrition linked to disease? Several Buck labs have projects in this area involving diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, gut health, and circadian rhythms, among others.
