Benoit Biteau
Postdoctoral Research Fellow

His work focuses on the regulation of intestinal stem cell function in the fly, and on how this regulation influences tissue homeostasis and lifespan.

Debamita Chatterjee
Graduate Student

She is broadly interested in metabolic homeostasis and how its dysregulation affects lifespan and age-related disorders. She is currently working on the characterization of oenocytes and their liver-like role in metabolic homeostasis in adult fruit flies.

Dae-Sung Hwangbo

Dae-Sung Hwangbo
Graduate Student

Dae-Sung is interested in the maintenance of tissue and metabolic homeostasis and their contribution to organism aging. He is currently working on a novel gene that regulates cell death and immunity in Drosophila. He is expected to defend his PhD thesis in the summer of 2012.
