You need a passport to visit Croatia. Your U.S. passport should be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure. If you transit a Schengen country enroute to Croatia, we recommend your passport have at least six months of validity to avoid difficulties. You don't need a visa if you are a U.S. passport holder coming for tourist or business trips of less than 90 days within each 180 day period. Visit the Embassy of Croatia’s website for the most current visa information.
Although Croatia is a member of the European Union, it is not yet a member of the Schengen area, and a passport is required for travel between Croatia and other European Union member states. For further details about travel into and within Schengen countries, please see the State Department’s Schengen Fact Sheet: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/go/schengen-fact-sheet.html
Friday reception & dinner: Business or cocktail
Saturday & Sunday sessions: Business casual
The end of October and beginning of November usually represent the end of Split’s summer season, which means there will be fewer tourists visiting at that time. The weather is chillier and probably won't be suitable for swimming and sunbathing, although it depends on the year; some years they enjoy beautiful weather all the way to December.
Average temperatures in October:
High: 21C (70F)
Low: 12C (54F)
Average rain days in October: 7 days
Average sea temperature: 20C (68F)
The Hotel Park is located 25km (15 miles) from the Split airport.
