Become a Member

Join the Buck

We invite you to become a partner in your own healthy aging and demonstrate your commitment to Buck scientists by becoming a member of the Buck Institute.

Your membership starts with an annual gift of $250 or more to the Institute and includes these benefits. Donations are unrestricted, and Institute leaders direct funds to where they most effectively support the scientists working to unlock the biological mysteries of aging. By becoming an Institute member, donors designate themselves as committed supporters of scientific research. Membership dollars provide critical seed money that helps fund research before it is eligible for other financial support.

Be the First to Know

Institute members are invited to luncheon presentations where they hear about scientific discoveries and upcoming Institute developments before the news is announced to the public. Members who are out of the area or unable to attend may access these presentations via our website with a private membership password. In addition, members enjoy reserved seating at community seminars, are recognized in the Institute’s Honor Roll of Donors list, and receive the exclusive Buck Institute pin.

Members giving at the $500 level or higher will also have their names added to our permanent donor wall to be located in the Institute’s lobby.

Give the Gift of Membership

Honor the birthday, graduation, marriage or anniversary of someone special in your life with the gift of membership to the Buck Institute. By doing so, you are ensuring that the vital work being done by Buck Institute scientists will continue, bringing healthy aging to us all.

Your honoree will receive a lovely acknowledgement card with a personal message from you sharing the news of your generosity and good wishes, as well as information describing membership and its benefits.
